The Golf Courses

Our resort features two 18-hole championship golf courses - Slammer & Squire and King & Bear - designed by golf legends, Sam Snead, Gene Sarazen, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Nicklaus. These courses offer players of all levels a challenging and rewarding golfing experience surrounded by stunning views and beautiful landscapes of the low country of northeast Florida.

The Slammer & Squire -Tee off from under the tower of the World Golf Hall of Fame at the Slammer & Squire. This 6,939-yard course was designed by architect Bobby Weed along with Hall of Fame Members, Sam Snead (the "Slammer") and Gene Sarazen (the "Squire"). You'll discover a layout that emphasizes the short game, reflective of the finesse game that made the "Slammer" and "Squire" legends. And, like the King & Bear, it features several water hazards and showcases the natural beauty of the region.

The King & Bear - Named after its co-designers, the King & Bear golf course is a testament to the shared passion for golf course design by two of the game's greatest legends - Arnold Palmer, known as "The King," and Jack Nicklaus, famously nicknamed the "Golden Bear." The course stands as a stunning embodiment of their collaborative efforts, offering golfers a challenging, awe-inspiring, and visually captivating experience. With 7,279 yards, it's a "driver's" course, which should come as no surprise, as both Palmer and Nicklaus wielded awesome power games in their primes.

Located on the property is a 300-room Marriott Renaissance Hotel with guest rooms and suites designed to meet the needs of any traveler.
